- Why is it better
to
Repair my Credit History Myself? I can hire a
Credit Report Repair Company and have them do it all,
saving me all the aggravation.
The Answer is simple. You can repair your own
credit report
yourself, possibly even more effectively without
the high costs of hiring a credit report repair
service
you may know little about! Credit report repair
companies can use shady tactics and methods. The
first step of hiring a credit report repair service
will be for you to give them your social
security number, and a copy of your credit
report and your address and other information.
You may know nothing else about this company
then their website address and they now have
access to all the information that makes you,
YOU! Pretty scary. Secondly, some credit report companies will
then take a look at your credit report, figure
out what items you want to dispute and send out
letters to all your negative items all at once.
This may sound like a quick solution but I
assure you it is quite the opposite. Sending out
all your disputes at once will begin to raise
red flags with the credit and collection
agencies. They will most likely just write off
the attempts as frivolous and not help remove
items from your credit history report. Worse then that, after
you have had enough of the credit report repair
companies efforts and you decide to try to
repair your own credit yourself you will have an up hill
battle now that red flags have already been
placed on your files.
- I've already tried
to contact my collection agencies and they say
there is nothing they can do so what else can I
do?
A lot!
Step one, buy
our Credit
Report Repair Plan! We will show
you the most effective ways to get results from the
credit and collection agencies. They are infamous
for stall tactics and not always cooperating with
you. You need to learn your rights and what rights
they must abide by so that you can effectively
approach these companies and get the results that
will help your credit report history truly reflect
you!
It
depends, sometimes it is best to let it be, but many
collection companies will wait until your seven
years is about up and either sell your account or
contact you about it
again. "Touching" the account
could begin your seven years all over again. For
this reason we tell you to be careful with what you
touch. Nothing is more frustrating then trying to
"wait it out" and only have the seven years start
all over. It is typically best to try to address the
item, and get it either removed all together or at
least re-reported in a more positive manner. We'll
show you how you can do this.
